The Subwait+ project, started with a frustration with the quality of
the environment of city’s subway stations, specifically Union Square
Subway Station 4, 5 & 6 lines, aims to create a more humane and
dynamic environment. The project, based on a philosophy that ‘user
experience is the key to good designs,’ focuses on the exploration
of the connection between transit space and people. Ultimately,
Subwait+ envisions and suggests a series of constructive changes,
inspired by elements of nature that will introduce a new role of public
transit system.
